3 BURFC Alumni Represented in New England Champion Wolfhounds Squad

Terrier Connection

BURFC alumni Ed Guitton, Sean Richards, and Keith Keller (pictured below from left to right) currently play for the Boston Irish Wolfhounds men’s rugby team based in Canton, MA. In November, the Hounds won the NERFU DII Championship by defeating Portland 18-13, and will be competing in the national playoffs on April, 29th in Richmond, VA.

Prop, Ed Guitton, graduated from BU in 2014. A staple in the Terriers’ front row, Ed was key to the clubs success in the early 2010s. After graduating, Ed played for Boston RFC, and returned to BU as the Assistant Forwards Coach from 2014-2016. He now plays for the Irish Wolfhounds and is a formidable force in the Hounds dominant front 3.

Sean “Seaaaan T” Richards is a versatile forward who had a standout career at Number 8 for BU. Since joining the Hounds in 2016, Richards has slotted in at prop, lock, and 8.

Keith Keller played in the Centers for BURFC from 2015-2017 as a graduate student. He joined the Terriers after graduating from the University of New Mexico where he played fly-half for the Lobos.
